 Mechanical and Chemical Industries Corporation/
Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi Kurumu  (MKEK):

The Mechanical and Chemical Industries Corporation (MKEK) actually only manufactures ammunition and smaller weapons for the Turkish Armed Forces. When the aircraft plants of the THK were transferred to MKEK in June 1952, it was decided that only some chosen projects should be resumed. The aircraft production stopped in 1959.

In March 1955 three MKEK-4 Ugur training aircraft were presented to Jordan. No further details could be found about their operational service.
